Back in the Attitude Era everything in the WWE turned to gold including tag team matches. The most memorable tag teams came together in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. My favorite tag teams were those who brought charisma and character. The tandem also has to have a reason they’re together and a common goal. During the Attitude Era my favorite tag teams were The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff Hardy), The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and Devon Dudley) and Edge and Christian. These teams had great chemistry together. The teams were entertaining in and out of the ring. One of my favorite battles between the three teams came in 2000 at Summer Slam in a Tables Ladders and Chairs match. These teams had a lot of bad blood and a score to settle, they also wanted a piece of gold. Prior to Summer Slam Mick Foley decided to schedule a TLC match. All three teams were familiar with each object brought into the match. The Dudley Boyz were known for their expertise with tables, Hardy Boyz known for their aerial assault, and Edge and Christian known for their creativity with steal chairs. A TLC was a perfect fit for an already perfect promo. This fight is like no other fight in WWE today. Each superstar in this bout was willing to risk their body to entertain the fans and they were damn successful. This is arguably the most entertaining fight in WWE history check it out I promise you, you won’t regret it.
